Pouring Into You: "Boundaries are Not Selfish"

For many women, especially those who care deeply for others, saying “no” feels uncomfortable.
We worry about disappointing people. We don’t want to seem unavailable. We’ve been taught that being “good” means always being there.
But constantly saying yes to others often means saying no to yourself.
Boundaries are not about pushing people away. They are about protecting what matters most your time, your energy, your peace.
Without boundaries, even the strongest women can become overwhelmed. Not because they are incapable, but because they are carrying more than they were ever meant to hold alone.
Setting boundaries does not mean you care less, iIt means you understand your limits.
It sounds like:
“I can’t commit to that right now.”
“I need some time for myself.”
“I’m not available, but I appreciate you thinking of me.”
These are not acts of selfishness they are acts of self-respect. The more you honor your own needs, the more sustainable your ability to show up for others becomes.
Saying no doesn’t make you less caring, it makes you sustainable!
This week I challenge you to reflect on this..."Heavy is the head of the one who wears the crown"
