Telia is a mom, wife, and lover of all things coffee!

Telia Rivers is the owner of TVR Productions, providing media support and interview

preparation. She is also a South Carolina real estate agent and serves as Chair of the Realtors® Housing Opportunities Fund (RHOF) Grant Committee. In this role, she helps support initiatives that strengthen the community through housing rehabilitation, the creation of affordable housing, and education that promotes responsible

homeownership.

Let's Meet Telia:

What inspired you to build something that serves others?

My entire career has always centered around people. Whether it was helping tell their

stories in the media or helping them find a place to call home. I realized early on that my

gift wasn’t just in doing the work, but in supporting people through important moments in

their lives. That’s what inspired me to be useful and to genuinely help.

What challenges have you faced as a woman leading while also

supporting others?

One of the biggest challenges is making sure I don’t pour so much into others that I

forget myself. As women, especially those who naturally serve, we can carry a lot

emotionally and mentally. Leading while supporting others means learning how to set

boundaries while still showing up.

How do you balance ambition with purpose?

I constantly have to check my intentions. Ambition pushes me forward, but purpose

keeps me grounded. If what I’m doing doesn’t align with helping others, growing my

family, or creating impact, I pause and realign.

What sacrifices have you made along the way?

Time is the biggest one. Time with family, time to rest, even time to just be still. I’ve also

had to sacrifice comfort. Stepping into rooms where I felt unsure but knew I belonged.

How do you stay connected to your “why” during difficult seasons in

business?

I remind myself who I’m doing it for, my Son, my future, and the people who trust me. I

also look back at how far I’ve come. That perspective helps me push through.

What advice would you give to women building something

meaningful while also caring for family or community?

Give yourself permission to move at your own pace. You don’t have to do everything in

one day. Consistency matters more than speed. And don’t be afraid to ask for help. I still

struggle with asking for help, but know you don’t have to carry everything alone.

What has your journey taught you about strength and resilience?

Strength isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s showing up when you’re tired, uncertain, or

discouraged. Resilience is continuing anyway, even when things don’t look how you

imagined.

How do you refill your cup when you feel emotionally or spiritually

drained?

I slow down. I pray, I spend time with my family or friends, I step away from the noise,

and I reconnect with what brings me peace. Whether that’s quiet moments, reflection, or

simply resting.
